Who is Rakel?

Hi! I'm Rakel Johnson: mom, wife, teacher, and business owner. My favorite way to spend time is with my two little pumpkins. When I'm not with them, I help teachers bring their TPT products to life through photography and video. You will also find me enjoying the beautiful MN outdoors, reading a book, or listening to my favorite podcasts.

 

As a teacher with ten years of classroom experience in grades   K-2, I have always had a love for using technology in my classroom. Then, during the pandemic, I had to pivot my teaching to rely entirely on presenting information to students through visuals and video. This is when I experienced the power of appealing visuals. Students were able to connect with the material and remember it better when it grabbed their attention. I thrived in this new challenge, and began spending a lot of my free time taking photos and making videos.

 

I know how to help you market classroom resources, because I am your target customer. I know what would catch my eye and increase the appeal of a digital resource. As a teacher leader in my district, I have provided professional development to school staff on technology, video creation, and utilizing video to engage. It was this passion and my desire to be more available to my own kids, that led me to this exciting opportunity to share my skills with you.
